4xblu received nearly a dozen titles from Australia, the UK, and Poland today. The vast majority of them came from the Arrow online store, although they weren’t all Arrow titles. Miklós Jancsó’s “Electra, My Love,” a new addition to the shop’s inventory, was included in the Arrow haul. However, “Electra” was released by another UK label, Second Run, who began making their titles available through Arrow’s web shop a few months ago.

For the remaining arrivals from the Arrow store, there was one other debut, Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s “Effi Briest,” and seven restocks. The restocked titles consist of Dario Argento’s “Deep Red,” Mario Bava’s “Black Sabbath,” Richard Linklater’s “Waking Life,” Joe Dante’s “The ‘Burbs,” “Bound” by the Wachowskis, and two by Woody Allen: “Bananas” and “Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex * But Were Afraid to Ask.”

As for the other two arrivals, one was a customer request for the Cartoon Network animated mini-series “Over the Garden Wall” and the other was the third and final volume of the “Martin Scorsese Presents Masterpieces of Polish Cinema” set. Volume III includes Andrzej Wajda’s “Ashes and Diamonds” and “The Wedding,” Krzysztof Kieslowski’s “Blind Chance” and “A Short Film About Killing,” Roman Polanski’s “Knife in the Water,” Jerzy Kawalerowicz’s “Mother Joan of the Angels,” Andrzej Munk’s “Eroica,” and Janusz Morgenstern’s “To Kill This Love.”
