A pair of packages from France and Japan arrived at the shop today. Their contents consisted of a quartet of restocks: Brian De Palma’s “Body Double” and “Casualties of War,” plus John Carpenter’s “Memoirs of an Invisible Man” and Ken Russell’s “Mahler.”
“Body Double” received a domestic release from Twilight Time, whose limited edition disc is currently sold out and fetches outrageous sums on the secondary market. 4xblu carries two options on this title: the Australian Region B locked Blu-ray that is from a dated master (but only costs $13.50) and the Region A Compatible French disc that is derived from a 4k master that currently sells for $21.00 in the shop. A French deluxe edition with a wealth of special features was also released, but it appears to no longer be available (when it was, it typically sold for between 50 and 60 Euros).
