Among the titles that came in the mail today are a customer request for “Pasolini,” Abel Ferrara’s film about the great Italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini, plus a Danish quartet of restocks consisting of Sam Raimi’s “The Gift,” Peter Greenaway’s “The Baby of Macon,” and two by Woody Allen: “Hollywood Ending” and “Cassandra’s Dream.” While the former is the sort of comedic farce one typically expects from Allen, the latter is a moody crime drama that skews more toward the director’s serious side (owing some measure of its foreboding atmosphere to composer Philip Glass’s score).
