The shop received a sizable bundle of titles today, including two new additions to 4xblu’s inventory: Alex Ross Perry’s “Listen Up Philip” and Ulrich Seidl’s “Paradise: Love,” which is the first film in the director’s “Paradise” trilogy. The trilogy first came to my attention when it screened at Cinefamily a couple of years ago; it’s the sort of thing that fans of provocative filmmakers like Gaspar Noe and Lars von Trier (it seems envelope pusher extraordinaire John Waters is a fan) should definitely look into.
