Today’s batch of online store additions includes two titles that were part of the impressive haul that arrived from France and Japan today: Jean-Luc Godard’s “La Chinoise” and John Carpenter’s “Memoirs of an Invisible Man.” The other two titles are impressiive in their own right: Masters of Cinema’s Blu-ray of Kaneto Shindo’s “Onibaba” and the German Blu of Sam Raimi’s “A Simple Plan,” a #MoneyBagMovie starring Bill Paxton and Billy Bob Thornton, who’d previously starred in Carl Franklin’s “One False Move,” one of the very best of the numerous early 90s noirs.
