A considerable haul came into the shop today, as ten titles arrived from France and the UK. The French titles consisted of one customer request, Sylvain Chomet’s “The Triplets of Belleville,” and a pair of new additions to the shop’s inventory: “Sign of the Pagan” and “Thunder on the Hill,” both by Douglas Sirk. Of the seven restocks from Britain, two were from Eureka’s Masters of Cinema line (Seijun Suzuki’s “Youth of the Beast” and Henri-Georges Clouzot’s “The Murderer Lives at 21”) and the other five were from Arrow Video: David Cronenberg’s “Shivers,” Joe Dante’s “The ‘Burbs,” Brian De Palma’s “Obsession” and “Sisters,” as well as the Edgar Allen Poe anthology “Spirits of the Dead,” which is comprised of segments directed by Federico Fellini, Louis Malle, and Roger Vadim.
