The shop received a whopping twenty-two titles today, one of its biggest single-day takes ever. Remarkably, the entire haul was from the United Kingdom. Among the arrivals were a trio of customer-requested debuts (Clive Donner’s “Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush,” John Halas & Joy Batchelor’s animated adaptation of George Orwell’s “Animal Farm,” and Peter Greenaway’s “The Cook, the Thief, His Wife, & Her Lover”) plus one new addition to the shop’s inventory, Eureka’s Blu-ray of Sion Sono’s “Guilty of Romance.” Of the eighteen remaining restocks, eleven are Arrow Video releases, including such perennial sellers as David Cronenberg’s “Shivers,” Joe Dante’s “The ‘Burbs,” and Brian De Palma’s “Sisters” and “Obsession.”
