The time has come for another batch of additions to the 4xblu online store. Today’s slate includes Francis Ford Coppola’s “Rumble Fish,” Sam Raimi’s “A Simple Plan,” and Arrow’s Kiju Yoshida “Love + Anarchism” box set. The box contains both the director’s cut and the theatrical version of “Eros + Massacre,” each on their own disc, and a third disc containing two more features, “Heroic Purgatory” and “Coup d’etat.” While Yoshida’s radical form and content have occasionally been compared to post-May ’68 Godard, the role that Japanese history and politics play in his work inextricably links it to his native land.
