A quintet of restocks from France showed up at the shop today. Among the arrivals were two copies of “Bright Star,” Jane Campion’s film based on the romance between poet John Keats and proto-fashionista Fanny Brawne. Judging from the “Bright Star” thread at Blu-ray.com, the French Blu-ray’s signature purple case had vanished years ago, long since replaced by a standard blue Amaray case. However, of the two copies that came today one was in a blue case and the other was in a purple one — quite a surprise! (Before anyone asks, the purple-cased “Bright Star” has already been snapped up.)
