Today’s arrivals consist of a trio of titles from Germany, including one new addition to the shop’s inventory: Lance Hool’s “Steel Dawn,” a futuristic desert action film starring Patrick Swayze and a cast that includes 80’s action mainstay Brion James and Arnold Vosloo, who would go on to fame a decade later as Imhotep in the Brendan Fraser “Mummy” movies.
Also in tow are a pair of restocks from directors who have each had two titles grace the store’s shelves: “Kaboom” by Gregg Araki, whose “Smiley Face” is one of the shop’s steadiest sellers, and “Blue Steel” by Kathryn Bigelow, whose “Strange Days” generated lots of interest when it made its debut earlier this week.
